Travelling Atlantic Canada as a special guest for Atlanti-Con, Scifi on the Rock and Hal-Con, where he will be performing his one-man show Storytime with Fat Apollo, the Battlestar Gallactica-bedsheet-wearing Apollo, AKA Mike McCluskey (son of city council's Gloria), finds inspiration in many corners of pop culture, including a certain famous US president. “In the words of Abraham Lincoln, ‘Players gonna play, haters gonna hate,’” he says, explaining his attention-getting ways. “I enjoy the support of the fans, I love the Coast awards because it does recognize the best in the city, chosen by people, as opposed to an editorial board.”
