Gold Winner Todd’s Southend Car Care
Silver Winner Tom McDonnell’s Service Centre
Bronze Winner Hydrostone Auto Repair
Rumour has it that after he exposed the corruption of local military officials and brought freedom of the press to Nova Scotia, Joseph Howe, ever the innovator, opened the Texaco station on Inglis Street. Well, maybe not, but Derrick Munro bought the station in the ’90s and started his mechanic shop, and the rest is history—this marks the third year in succession that Todd’s has taken the gold. Still, considering that runner-ups Tom McDonnell and Hydrostone Auto split the north end mechanic demand, they too must be doing it right.
