Almost one year old, Ace Burger has been a success from the start. The burger haven premiered as a pop-up last May, when Brooklyn Warehouse owner George Christakos decided to take a chance at the simple life. “We’re not really trying to be a hippie-dippie kind of place, its still supposed to be a simple burger joint,” he says of the locally sourced menu. Located inside Gus’ Pub, Ace provides the north end watering hole with high-quality food options, like the popular deluxe—a classic beef (grass-fed) burger with PEI cheddar and back bacon. By serving local, gourmet ingredients in such a laid back space, with a yell-out-your order-as-it’s-ready approach, Ace Burger definitely does something unique.
