Sixty million dollars was somehow spent on The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure, a torturously awful singalong puppet pile of trash. A trio of rainbow-coloured monstrosities, Oogieloves Zoozie, Toofie and Goobie work with goldfish Ruffy and vacuum cleaner J. Edgar to rescue five magic balloons lost in Lovelyloveville and throw a birthday party for sleepy pillow Schluufy. Toni Braxton, Cloris Leachman and Christopher Lloyd help them out as a variety of increasingly aggravating caricatures. The raison d'être for the Oogieloves is to get kids dancing and singing some repetitive songs via onscreen lyrics, and as such a family of CGI turtles helpfully let everyone know "It's okay to sit down now.” TOitBBA was reportedly created after a bitter dispute between the creators of Teletubbies and inspired by Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail. That sentence is both more interesting and has more plot than this failure of a movie.
