You don’t know what you got till it’s gone. Juan devastated Point Pleasant Park, wiping out acres of trees that had already been thinned out from the Longhorn Spruce Beetle scare a few years ago. The public has since got a chance to view the damage to the park first hand but it will remain closed for the foreseeable future. Dogwalkers, joggers and Shakespeare By the Sea will feel the loss the most, but it’s safe to say we’ve all lost a good friend.
