Halifax loves The Summit. This is the spa’s seventh win in seven years, and there’s a darn good reason for it. Two, in fact: “Staff experience and knowledge, that’s what we hear over and over again,” says owner Susan Alward. “We have quite an extensive training program.” Apparently Halifax also loves the Brazilian bikini wax, and The Summit was one of the first spas in Canada to offer the service. The spa is a favourite among men too, as they make up 25 percent of the clientele.
