Cell phones are evolving in all kinds of fun ways, but without a strong service network to back them up, they’re pretty well useless. “Coverage is huge for us,” says Deanna Miller, a youth market manager for Aliant, which won this category again. “We have invested over $290 million over the past four years in Atlantic Canada to increase our network.” They’re also investing time and money researching new technologies, such as video messaging (think cell phone cameras plus cam corders), that their customers (especially their younger customers) are interested in. “We really care about what they think.” 866-434-0344
