Halifax Dance’s artistic administrator Tim Keenan says that technically, Halifax Dance is not a dance company, but a non-profit organization dedicated to the movement arts, with a membership of over 1,400 pairs of dancing feet (that’s 2,800 feet!). But with three dance companies in residence---Gwen Noah, Mocean Dance and Verve Mwendo---plus loads of classes for kids, youth, adults and professional dancers alike, we’ll give them the plaque.
