Hamachi's new restos close to complete

"We're doing the construction now, so it will be opening in three-to-four weeks," says Boris Mirtchev, the Hamachi Restaurant Group grande fromage. The new restaurants he's speaking of will be adjacent to each other at 540 Southgate Drive near the corner of Larry Uteck Boulevard. One will be called Hamachi Mura, a sushi/Thai resto. "Mura means village in Japanese," says Mirtchev, to fit in with the plaza called Stonegate Village. The other restaurant is Son Vida - Tapas, Restorante, Vino, "a Spanish-influenced Mediterranean restaurant," says Mirtchev. "My wife is Greek, so there's be some Greek cuisine, and Italian." The new establishments will be side by side but with entirely separate kitchens and dining rooms.
