I was walking home the other evening, laptop in hand and mentally drained from staring at a computer screen all day. I was standing at an intersection waiting for the walk signal to give me the go-ahead. At that moment, a big white worker truck was driving by and as it approached, I was blankly looking at the fellows inside. As the truck passed, I noticed you were smiling at me, not in the creepy-smile sort of way, but the genuine, kind-hearted sort of way. I didn't smile back in time, but I was smiling all the way home.
