W.T.F.

WTF is up with most online companies these days? Have you never heard of VERISIGN, PAYPAL, or E-CHECQUE? I tried to order something yesterday, from a nameless place, and they asked for a card number. No way do any of them get it, not after what happened to a friend of mine a couple months back. Seems he ordered something from a gaming place on the net, and they or one of their members, used his card to access no less than 10 pay for play sex sites. They had all his info there, and when he got the monthly bill, he fucking near went through the roof. $1,800.00 worth of sex sites. And these assholes think that I will give them my card numbers, not in your wildest fucking dreams folks. Anyway, the card place finally got it straightened out yesterday, and he gets almost $1,500.00 back on his card. So really now, when do you trust any online company with your card numbers? When hell freezes over for me. So, here I give this place I was going to order from the whole nine yards, and they actually agree, that yes, most if not all places should start accepting the forms of payment, other than credit cards. Paypal and Verisign alert me to any transaction that is made, and ask for my passcode to accept or deny the payment to said company online. So, when can you trust that your info and numbers will not be used by some clown working at these places? Really, never. But where do you draw the line, not buy online, or pick and choose places, remember now, that most places are supposed to be honest. But then again, bad publicity will kill a company, faster than Harper can tax it out of the country. Oh, this place was a US based company, and two of their other sites shut down yesterday afternoon, for said reason. Because they were doing an employee re-evaluation or some shit. But it really pisses me off, to try and get something, even with a card, and not be able to get it, and I could spend a lot of money at their site. They have just lost several thousands bucks worth of my business. Security related items, by the way, that I use for my company. —Sucks to Order Something from a Sucky Place
