Rules Don't Apply to Some

Over the weekend the great annual Clam Harbour Sand Castle Competition took place. Once again the "honourable" mayor Peter Kelly presided over the judging along with a number of other judges. There are few rules contestants must follow when it comes to constructing sand castles and sculptures but one is all items used must be "natural items found on the beach." Peter Kelly and the judges awarded first prize to a sculpture of a sail boat complete with rope, plastic pipes for port holes and a crows nest made of a plastic barrel... Come on Kelly, how hard is it to fairly judge a sand castle competition??? —Sore Loser
