If you haven't figured out what book will absorb your interest this summer, we have a suggestion for you: Check out Atlantic Author Day, organized by Atlantic Books Today and the Atlantic Publishers Marketing Association. It happens Saturday June 18 in a variety of bookstores from 10am to 4pm, with authors reading from their books. Halifax bookstores in the event include Carrefour Atlantique Emporium (Historic Properties, 1869 Upper Water Street, 423-2940) Woozles (1533 Birmingham Street, 423-7626) and Just Browsing Crafts and Collectibles (35 Government Wharf Road, Eastern Passage, 405-0505).
