I read the "Spell Check Yourself" bitch from Thursday and was reminded that I wanted to submit a bitch in a similar vein. When you are handing out resumes, don't come in at our busiest time and stand there asking a bunch of questions about the job and wanting to speak to the manager, and sometimes not even taking no for an answer when told the manager is not available. I understand that your parents or career counselors have probably told you that persistence pays off, and it's good advice. But you know what doesn't pay off? Pestering me in the middle of our rush. I don't want to work with someone like that because I can already tell that you don't have a fucking clue and with all the resumes we receive, one which I've marked "rude" will make its way to the scrap paper pile in short order. If you have questions, come back when it's less busy, and if you want to talk to a manager, ask when they will available. Otherwise, just be friendly, give me your resume and then get out of the way. —Not as Much of a Bitch as I Probably Sound
