I hate when they rag on the audience for not laughing. If no one is laughing it's probably because your joke is lame. When I go out to see some comedy, I want to either laugh or not laugh (preferably the former, but I don't mind the latter). What I don't want is for someone to make me feel "mean" for not pity-laughing. It's sad. If you want to test your jokes on an audience that will always laugh, try your Mom. —Enjoyer of Stand Up Comedy
