In light of the death of the Chief of the CB Police, it has been reported that hundreds of police officers from all over Canada will be attending the funeral to show their respect. WHY and at what COST to the TAXPAYER? Where did this practice originate? I feel sympathy for this man's family, and the families of all serving police personnel, but why does there have to be this costly parade at every event? —Dixon of Dock Green
