So, it's 8 degrees today, and everything's getting pretty melty out there. As I walked by the much-adored Oval, much to my surprise, all of the refrigeration units were still humming away. Now, I'm neither an environmentalist nor an economist, but it seems to me that running all those units to keep an oval-shaped puddle of water chilled is a pretty poor use of both energy and taxpayer dollars, no? Considering the temperature is supposed to be in the pluses all week, I think it's safe to say you can turn the damn things off now, dummies. Skating season is over. —Not Cool
