“I’ve been around for what will be 13 years in a couple of months. I just had a lot of loyal customers I grew up with,” says Sweet Pea’s Johanna Galipeau of her shop’s success. “We bring in new things weekly, we deliver a boutique feel without breaking the bank. I work here myself almost every day and know most of my customers by name.” This marks the shop’s fifth win, and it’s not hard to see why fans keep flocking back to the frock-focused spot: “People come for any occasion,” says Galipeau, “a wedding, a funeral, a work dress.”
