Her strategy on Twitter is different than her approaches to other social networks. “Twitter is newsier,” she says. Her content is “really current,” and “really fast.” That speed—which becomes a danger when wading into breaking news and its less-than-verified counterparts—means she has to work to verify content sharing. She says false information hasn’t been intentionally sent her way, but she does get people posing as her to get into Halifax events.
