Thanks to a one-way ticket to Moncton, compliments of Steve Lambke, Ian Kehoe (formerly of adored rockers Attack in Black) now calls indie music pocket Sackville, New Brunswick, his home. It was the end result of hopping aboard a tour with Baby Eagle to play some bass, and realizing they had something good going on. Lambke can also be thanked for transforming Marine Dreams from an album title to a band name. He gifted Kehoe the nickname while on tour (Kehoe says it was a matter of keeping up with the monikers of his stage-mates Baby Eagle and Shotgun Jimmie). Though seemingly new to the scene, Marine Dreams has been making a name playing gigs around Sackville (namely the Stereophonic Festival in January) and actually has a full-length album ready and waiting for a release. While Kehoe hopes that'll come "sooner than later," here's your chance for a sneak preview.
