I was listening to the news this morning and it was announced that some of Mark Twain's great works will substitute the 'N' word with 'slave'. As ugly and unacceptable it is to use the 'N' word in today's society, defacing a classic that was written over 100 years ago to be politically correct burns my butt bunions. Especially when you consider that Twain was NOT a racist. If this is what they'll do with period fiction, think about what they'll eventually do to actual history.
