Though the sane wait until July, some ice-water-in-their-veins types will venture into Long Lake on the first sunny day in spring. Long Lake is a wonderful place for a swim, we can all agree, due to the kilometres of shoreline, hidden inlets and flat rocks that make themselves known depending on the whether the water is low or high this season.
