Yes, I will say that Johnny Knoxville and co.---the titular jackasses, accelerating their decrepitude for our amusement---have reached the summit of their art with their employment of 3D technology. If these fellas are receiving lethal-looking levels of force in service to their audience, then it stands to reason that the final frontier of their process would be to bring that very audience so much closer (almost participatory, when one is dodging a 3D dildo shot at point-blank range) to the magic. What’s next? A live show? Why are horror films monopolizing audience reaction shots in their marketing? Jackass is outrageous, shocking and purely hilarious. It’s a physical experience for those on the screen and those watching it.
