The best piece of advice Chris Cuddihy can offer hungry people ordering delivery from Salvatore’s is call early and book it in advance. “It’s not that we’re slow, it’s that we’re busy,” says the restaurant’s owner of the tendency for a Sal’s delivery to take a little longer than your average pizza delivery. After winning this award last year—and seeing a little push back from the always friendly folks of social media—he’s chuffed that patient diners made a repeat gold happen. “I think it’s just, there are really wonderful people voting and it’s an honour that they love us so much.”
