Shopping at Pete’s Frootique doesn’t offer the same depth of products, shockingly low prices and small-business support that comes from patronizing Tian Phat, the Italian Market or any number of the tiny storefront grocers popping up (to our delight) across the city these last couple of years. But don’t sleep on Pete’s. The Sobeys-owned Whole Foods equivalent has a cornucopia of diverse morsels to gobble up. It’s also the best spot in town to pick up English treats like PG Tips, Jammy Dodgers or whatever other British bite you need for your next Doctor Who viewing party.
