Halifax rock group The Lucy Grays just released a self-titled EP this past May, and took a performing break after the release show to regenerate themselves. "Getting the EP together was a bit of a cluster-fuck!" writes Tom Bilodeau, bass player for The Lucy Grays. "It was recorded in two different basements and the NSCC studio over the course of two years (off and on) with an insane amount of road blocks (new members, school work, laziness, etc.). So once we got it released we took a little time off and then jumped right back into playing shows around Halifax." Tonight's show is one of those, with a second Elephant & Castle show slated for July 8. Bilodeau promises that it's going to be a "shit show," as last time bandmate Breagh Potter almost lost her mic a few times to a rowdy---but appreciated---crowd. G
