Tongan Death Grip with The Blameits, The Nymphets, Billy Ray Cyborg
The Nymphets, with regular members Johanna Heldebro and Jared and Benjamin Leon, are emerging from the forest to play their first show in Canada since a year-and-a-half ago. The punk band started in Montreal, but members Heldebro and Jared called New York home for the past three years and have recently relocated to Sweden. Despite the moving, the band has been touring plenty---SXSW, Osheaga and NXNE have hosted them, with tours across the States and Europe. For this year, though, The Nymphets are pumping themselves up for a new seven-inch, Canada-only release for the fall or winter. "I don't want to say too much except that we are piecing it together, building towards a single object that we are excited about, and that this is the first time I have been really excited by the thought of making a record," writes Jared.
