Sleepless Nights give you another EP, head out on a tour

Busy lads!

Sleepless Nights kick off their winter tour this weekend and want to give you something to remember them by. The band is releasing a free downloadable EP this week, The Phone Booth Outside The Video Store, the second in a series of three (online at www.thesleeplessnights.com).

“It made sense to give the music to people who wanted it in the most painless manner possible," says Aaron Wallace. "I love music that is delivered in a physical format but we just don't have the means currently to make albums at the pace that we make music, so this allows us to catch up to our backlog of music.”

The last in the series is due out in April, and is called The Communication Barrier. “I think it was written in 2005. We've tried recording it many times but it never quite happened right. It's still being worked on but right now it's actually longer than the run time of the last two EPs” The group are considering a three-sided vinyl release, which sounds like the perfect appetizer for their full length album due out in August. Sleepless Nights plan on making a couple music videos for that album and touring, possibly scheduling stops in the US and UK. The group tour to and from Ontario like maniacs, so they are bound to know of some hidden gems of cities. “As far as places that we're looking forward to I'd have to say Bayfield, Ontario. It's a small resort town and usually no more than five people show up, but those five people can party like they invented fun.” Show them you know a thing or two about it January 28 at Gus’ Pub for Doug Mason’s CD release (also with Hamilton Trading Co.)
