Thank you for letting me pet your tiny dog while you ordered coffee...just because I said I was sad. Thank you for asking why I was sad. I was unprepared for my own outburst of crying as I said "my best friend just died." Her death was a long time coming (cancer), I just hadn't said it aloud yet and was trying to be tough. Thank you for hugging me tightly. Thank you for saying I would be in your heart. Thank you for being there when I didn't know I needed someone.
