I await the annual yard sale in my neighbourhood (lawrence/allan/harvard)and look forward to making a few bucks and getting rid of some junk. This year, I get a notice saying somebody will be by to collect two dollarss to pay for advertising, etc should i have items for sale. I am outraged. I refuse to be hijacked. I will sell items on my doorstep and in my driveway! The paper that was thoughtlessly wasted, with no regards to the environment and valuable resources is a shame. Next year go the economical route and advertise in kijiji or here, at the Coast. I pity the person that will ask for money as I sit and sell my crap. It's upsetting. It after the fact and so not necessary.
