Re: “Why Ginger's and the Granite Brewery closed

I used to work as a short order cook at Gingers in the eighties it was a fast paced job especially the Saturday brunch of steak and eggs for the live bands that played

Re: “Cheeky Cod Gallery connects people with the artists

Amazing artist who gives 100 per cent of her talent/insight not only in her work but, also toward and for her clientele. So glad she is on Queen Street in Halifax. What a great opportunity for more people to benefit from the art and gifts available in the Cheeky Cod.

Re: “Halifax street style: Ochterloney Street

Ochterloney, as the profile says, is Dartmouth, not Halifax. "HRM street style", maybe.

Re: “Long Lake Adventure Company launches

Funny I don't remember seeing a tender for the park rental business and now they have a new structure in a wilderness park? You should really look into the government, private association running the park and poly corp if you really want a story on Long lake and corruption of provincial parks.they said they need the shop to have high prices to maintain the park yet the association was just given 25000. Where is the money going?
not to underpriveldge sprytowners that used this lake their whole lives.me thinks the lake will soon be called poly corp.

Re: “Flaunt Salon is moving July 1

Three of the stylists from Flaunt have ventured out on their own! Darrel, Laurel, and Ashlee have opened the new Brookside and Bliss Salon at 5881 Almon St. My daughter and I went there on Friday and it has a beautiful relaxed atmosphere, lots of natural light and of course the talented Darrel and Laurel (sorry Ashlee, I dont know you yet!). We loved the spot, parking not as difficult as their old location. Darrel and Laurel will continue to be our go to stylists for a long time to come! Love the new location for these three former Flaunt folks!

Re: “Get ready to take it all out on Halifax's first Rage Room

All of the items smashed will be separated into different bins and recycled in the same manner an electronics recycling depot, glass recycling depot, or plastic disposal depot, thus saving these items from being destroyed and end up in a landfill. Do a little research before you post negatively about something that does more good than harm for our community, and for our earth!

Re: “Get ready to take it all out on Halifax's first Rage Room

So, let's make even more trash for our landfill problem? Instead of putting in a little effort to try and recycle things they don't need, people are just going to bring it to this shithole to ruin. Why would the Coast promote something like this?

Re: “Scotia Pharmacy is moving (not very far)

The No Name Cafe space is smaller? There's an optical illusion for ya. Also, where the eff are we going to have to go to get our parcels?

Re: “Ahead of the Curves

Dorothy's service is excellent and discrete. I have been buying my bras exclusively from Curtom Curves since the early days of the business. Dorothy has lots of variety in styles, colours and amazing size ranges to fit you. Highly recommended!!

Re: “Goodbye, my P’lovers

So WHY did it close? Her best efforts to keep the doors open despite what? This is not a complete story. It seems to me that even a layman would know that a complete story includes the 5W's. If laymen are writing for The Coast, neither their stories nor The Coast are viable. Oh wait, they do and aren't...

For the loveofyourgods, please follow journalism practices. You threw away journalism ethics a long time ago but at least write a proper story!

Re: “Goodbye, my P’lovers

The last time I was in P'Lovers (I had to leave because of the smell, damn what an odour) it was on South Park. I didn't know about a Dartmouth location.
