31st Annual Messiah from Scratch
Participation is open to anyone who wishes to play or sing along with the Chebucto Symphony Orchestra. Join in on the famous choruses such as For Unto Us a Child is Born, Worthy is the Lamb, and of course, The Hallelujah Chorus!
The concert will also feature Soprano Fran Farrell, Counter-Tenor Andrew Pickett, Tenor Ryan Josey, and Bass Josh Whelan.
Organizers expect that hundreds of people, including professional musicians, amateurs, and non-musicians will come together to rehearse and perform Handel’s Messiah in one evening. You are encouraged to arrive early to secure your spot.
Part of the proceeds will go to Feed Nova Scotia. Donations of food items will also be accepted on behalf of the food bank.
