Quake Matthews has kept his calendar filled throughout 2019. “I just got back from a cross-country tour with Snak The Ripper where we did 23 shows,” he says. “The past year has been travelling a lot, spending a lot of time working with new people.” While the method clearly works, garnering him two gold Best of Halifax nods, he’s excited for the comparative calm of 2020, when he plans to drop some new music. “I don’t know what’s going on these days. Should I do an EP? Singles one by one? I’m just feeling it out and seeing where my music fits.” The answer, of course, is on your playlist.
