It’s been a great year for Laurie “The Guy” Goulding, self-proclaimed lucky guy. Not only did he pop the question to his partner of 18 years, Trudy, she said yes, they got married AND he’s the host of your Best Karaoke Night for the seventh year in a row. “One thing l am sure of is the awesome people l get to meet, and some l get to know well, and a few we have lost—they are the reason l still get to do something l love for a living for so long,” says the always humble Goulding. He reminds us that the old Lion’s Head Tavern (where his winning karaoke night happens every Friday) will still be open while the new Lion’s Head is under construction, and that you can also find him on Mondays at Staggers, on Tuesdays at Monte’s and on Wednesdays at Hugo’s. “l honestly do not know how to thank everyone that has supported me.” Hmm...Maybe with a song?
