The biggest moment of 2019 for the Port Cities wasn’t playing at the JUNOs. Rather, it came right after the band left the stage. “Producer Greg Wells DM’d us right after our set and we met up to work on some songs,” says band member Carleton Stone of the hitmaker who’s worked with Adele and Katy Perry. “We are all huge fans of stuff he did in the past.” It’s a sweet note for the group of five years to end on as member Breagh MacKinnon departs: “We were away from home about 250 days last year and no one knows how they’ll cope with that. We’ve just been taking the fall, working on music and just figuring out what’s next.”
