There really isn’t a bad place to volunteer when it comes to these finalists. Unsurprisingly, though, Nova Scotia SPCA holds a special place in the heart of its fund development coordinator, Taylor Mundy. “I think it’s just a very rewarding spot, to be honest. That’s how I feel personally,” says Mundy. “Just being here everyday, you see a lot of stories and you see a lot of animals that come in—maybe stray or maybe abandoned...Seeing them turn around, it’s phenomenal.”
