It all comes down to “our ability to provide a unique design concept with Maritime flair,” she explains. A focus on unique pieces by local makers—before that was the trendy thing to do—has helped the 40-year-old shop weather the times, Snelgrove adds. Throw in the shop’s customer service (“we have a unique relationship with our clients—it’s not just the product but the relationship”) and you have a trio as winning as a three-stone-setting.
