Lindsay Algee was caught off guard by her first-ever BOH win. “I’m taken aback. I can’t believe it,” says Algee, hairstylist and co-owner of Tidal Hair Lounge. Hair colouring and bridal ’dos are among her favourite things to do for her clients. “I love the creative side of everything,” says Algee. “People come in and bring pictures all the time, but you kind of customize everything to your client. So, I think for me that’s my favourite thing about colour: That there’s no two colours that are alike. You customize everything for every client, what works best for them.”
