Hit the Mic Mac Bar & Grill on a Saturday or Sunday and you’ll find a packed parking lot, and likely some hungry people patiently waiting for bottomless coffee and a bacony cure. It’s nothing fancy—no garnishes or foamed milk are happening here—and a bit of a heartstopper, but that’s part of what keeps the regulars coming back. The brunch menu includes hits like the gold-winning Marilyn’s Fish Cakes, the Big Hungry breakfast and the delish filet mignon and eggs. General manager Joël Chiasson sums it up simply: “It’s a good hangover plate, that’s part of it for sure.”
