Your favourite comedian has been on This Hour Has 22 Minutes for half of its existence (it has just entered its 25th season), but he’s also a regular gala host at the Ha!ifax Comedy Festival and general delight-about-town. “A big thank you from me to all the readers of the Coast. Halifax has been very good to me over the years,” Mark Critch says from an airport somewhere. “Shooting 22 Minutes here has been a joy. Getting to be a part of the election coverage with Mansbridge on the night Trump was elected was a highlight. I love when reality trumps anything you could write. Here’s hoping I can be a part of the coverage when he is impeached.”
