Terri Lowe says the staff at Spirit Urban Spa are dedicated to education and understanding skin care—that’s what makes their mani-pedis the best. “The additions to our pedicures aren’t necessary standard in all pedicures,” says Lowe. For instance: Use of a dremel to help buff the skin smoother, the use of scrubs and detailed cuticle work. “As well as just your polishing and pretty stuff that goes along with it as well.” Spirit’s pedicures alone typically last 75 minutes, making them particularly luxurious. Voters seem to appreciate it, as Spirit takes this gold spot for the second year in a row.
