Sackville has never been the city’s epicurean centre, but in between the used car lots and donair shops on Sackville Drive there’s been some restaurant gems popping up. Like Mezza Lebanese (taking home the bronze), or Chef’s Menu, which once again takes gold. Owner Jim Gill says that’s a testament to the eatery’s ethos of great service, and great food. “There’s been a few new restaurants out this way in the past year, but we continue to put out our product,” Gill says. “We’ve actually over the past years seen some pretty good, strong sales growth.” Spot on, Chef’s Menu.
