Lindsay Nelson likes to know where to find the best. It’s a big part of why she combines her loves of eating, travelling and writing to bring you Eat This Town. “I was fascinated by regional foods and loved the challenge of navigating the culinary landscape of a new city or region,” says Nelson of the inspiration she found in backpacking across Canada. “I began studying food intensively. Eventually I got to the point where I thought I had something to contribute.” Now she’s best known for her “quests,” where she wrangles her readers and social media followers to help her test out the best fish tacos/nachos/pizza in town, reviewing her findings along the way, crediting her family and friends for “tech support, graphic design, editing, transportation.”
