Best Male Film / TV Actor

Gold Winner Taylor Olson

Silver Winner Jarett Downey-Shaw

Bronze Winner Glen Matthews

“This is surprising and exciting. I get to do something I love and am passionate about as an actor, and I’m stoked that people are supporting me in that,” says Taylor Olson, a standout in the ensemble drama Noon Gun. “I’m stoked for everyone who worked on an important film about racial tensions in Halifax’s north end,” says the Dal acting grad. “Working with Caley and the whole team was a pleasure and I learned a lot, I’m really grateful. With the film tax cut, things are shaky right now but I’m hoping #nsfilm can continue to put out great local films.”
