“I want to start a pet food revolution,” says Planet Paws’ Rodney Habib. “The reason I started was because I destroyed two of my pets with pet food, and there was no one to report it to.” That’s what pushed him to start blogging about food safety when it comes to furry friends—now he’s travelling around North America spreading his wisdom, and winning awards left, right and centre. In efforts to bring his words into action, he opened Planet Paws in 2011 with the goal of teaming up with farmers to create a local pet food movement, bringing animals fresh, locally sourced foods. And we have a feeling this is only the tip of the iceberg.
