Chilling out is not optional at the University of King’s College’s clubhouse-meets-watering hole The Wardroom. Carpeted for your comfort, The Wardy has a distinct basement hangout vibe to it—that is, if your basement features local beer on tap, regular performances from some of Halifax’s best bands, Firkin Fridays and amazing special events (like Beyonce Night, AKA the Best Night) and is packed with people well-versed in Nietzsche. King’s has done an amazing job creating a space where students want to spend their days, nights and off-periods enjoying a beverage or two, some philosophical conversation and, potentially, debauchery and for that we congratulate them.
