The Public Gardens is that pretty classmate who makes the rest of Halifax’s public spaces look like wrinkled garbage. Like, we get it, Public Gardens. You’ve got gorgeous flowers and waterfowl up the wazoo. You don’t also have to corner the market on charming scenery and quaint old gates. Though, who are we kidding, Point Pleasant Park and the Common are gorgeous, too. We are beset on all sides by incredible public places. This is the burden we carry, Halifax.
