We’re truly spoiled for choice when it comes to bodies of water in Halifax. How you made this very difficult decision we will never know, but clearly Long Lake has charmed you with its crisp waters, its multiple entry points, its lack of sliminess, its acceptable amount of resting rocks and, well, its length—when it comes to swimming spots, you’ve decided size does matter. Though this summer brought with it a pesky sign reminding dog owners to keep their pets on a leash, it’s just not a trip to Long Lake until a happy, damp golden retriever shakes all over your towel, if you ask us.
