“This is fun! Gold is fun!” says Town Heroes singer and guitarist Mike Ryan in response to the news of the win. The Town Heroes doesn’t shirk when it comes to online content, regularly posting new music, blogs, videos and coming up with contests for fans is all part of a day’s work for the group. “A little something for everyone, is what we go for, anyway,” says Ryan, and that little something can include covers of Rihanna songs, letters to Jay-Z and helping students with their school projects. “Our music is generally pretty serious, but everything else is usually pretty light-hearted and fun. We try to have a good laugh with most things, so if others can get in on that, then all the better.”
