“Stan is the next Alex Trebek!” exclaimed one Best of Halifax voter in support of Friday night trivia at the T-Room. That’s Stan Selig getting praised, one half of the winning triv team. After his longtime partner-in-crime Thomas Craig moved to Calgary “following the Canadian dream,” Selig quite democratically held open auditions for a suitable replacement before settling on the “taller-than-Thomas” Matt Morrison. (You trivia diehards may recognize him from the Economy Shoe Shop’s music trivia.) With a decade of quizzes under its belt (this three-time gold champ just celebrated an anniversary) it seems the T-Room trivia night only gets wiser with age. As another BOH voter challenges, “If you haven’t been yet, what’s wrong with you?”
